Solar Lights Deliver Bright to the Night!
Envision a world where all children can learn, rise, and thrive.
Now, impoverished families have access to light helping them gain options for economic opportunity filled with the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
Through donor "Lights for Learning" funding Tumaini Tutor students and their families are celebrating the delivery of solar light into their homes and lives. It is time to put away the smokey and dangerous kerosene lamps and candles!
This week, families of every single one of the 180 children attending Tumaini Tutor School received solar lamp systems to light their homes! Now their learning will not need to end when the sun sets.
We look forward to continuing the educational results observed with access to solar lighting:

- Increased student class standings
- increased National Exam scores
- Continued student confidence and pride
